Description:
The Arlington Central School District Board of Education is looking for a dynamic leader who is willing to commit to the nearly 8,000 students in our community. The Arlington Central School District is located 75 miles north of New York City in the beautiful Hudson River Valley and comprises eight elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school.
The Board of Education is seeking someone who:
● Is a visionary forward-thinking leader with a proven track record as a results-oriented administrator who understands a large, involved, and diverse community with high expectations of academic performance for all students;
● Possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
● Has building-level administrative experience and a record of successful teaching or related experience.
The preferred candidate has three (3) years of experience as Superintendent of Schools or Assistant Superintendent/Central Office Administrator. Must hold or be eligible for a New York School District Leader Certificate.
