Description:
The Hermon-DeKalb Central School District seeks an innovative, collaborative, and adaptive administrative leader to serve as our Building Principal. Our school is a small rural school that serves 380 students in grades PreK-12 in one building. This individual will oversee daily building operations and school safety while driving academic excellence from early childhood education through high school graduation. The ideal candidate will continue to develop an inclusive and supportive school culture, collaborate with staff on curriculum and instructional best practices, and help move the district forward with strategic planning and implementation of the NYS Portrait of a Graduate.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Holds or is eligible for a NYS School Building Lead (SBL) certification Minimum of 3-5 years of successful teaching experience
Starting Salary: $85,000 and negotiable based on experience
